Arriving in Kota Kinabalu five days before the PADI CDTC wasn’t just smart—it was transformative. From the moment the warm tropical air hit me at the airport, Borneo exceeded every expectation. I explored the waterfront markets, tasted Sabah’s rich blend of cultures through its food, dove the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, and settled into the rhythm of this coastal city. Those first days in KK grounded me, adjusted my internal clock, and set the tone for everything that followed in my CDTC journey.
