What You'll Learn
Prerequisites
What you need before you start
Before enrolling in the Emergency First Response Instructor course, you’ll need to meet a few basic requirements.
Minimum age
18 years old
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the Emergency First Response Instructor course.
Recent CPR and first aid training
Completed within the past 24 months
You must have completed CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months, or hold qualifying equivalent training.
Medical professionals may qualify
Current professional credentials accepted
Practicing medical professionals such as physicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, paramedics, and registered nurses may qualify with current credentials.
