AWARE Shark Conservation Course
AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty
Sharks are vital to healthy marine ecosystems, and they urgently need our protection. This course goes beyond fear and headlines to help divers understand shark biology, behavior, ecological importance, and the very real threats they face around the world.
Through discussion and optional dives, you’ll learn how divers can become advocates for shark conservation using science, awareness, and responsible practices to help shift public perception and inspire change.
Real shark encounters change the way you see these animals. This video from our Tiger Beach trip is a reminder that sharks are powerful, beautiful, and deserving of respect, not fear.
